Rush's bigotry
I just caught a tiny bit of the Rush Limbaugh while I was in the car over lunch. He said being against gay marriage is not the same thing begin against, say, inter-racial marriage. He then went on to say, and I'm paraphrasing here, "I'm not saying they're not allowed to marry, they just have to marry someone of the opposite sex." Sorry, Rush, but that sounds too similar to "I'm not saying they're not allowed to marry, they just have to marry someone of the same race." It's discrimination, plain and simple.

Now, let's make something clear here - I don't think Rush is racist. But do I think he's homophobic? Heck yes. Rush said it's "abysmal" to equate the fight for gay marriage with the fight for equal rights for minorities or the fight for a woman's right to vote, but is it really? Sure, Rush may not be impressed with the relative injustice between the three, but the principle is still the same. If two consenting adults want to get married, regardless of whether they are of the same sex, race, religion, IQ, height, weight, political party or what have you, they should be allowed to do so. It does no harm to anyone, no one's rights are being violated. Rush does not have the right to not be offended by it. That's his problem.

Sherry is evil. Eeeeviiiilllll!
David needs to get as far away from her as he possibly can (no, I'm not pulling a Bob Dole and referring to myself). How can anyone - anyone, I ask - stand by and let a man die of a heart attack when the medication is right there on the table? We all knew she was vicious and as self-serving, but dang!

Yes, I know it's a TV show. Lay off me.
